Mitzvah Garden KC is a volunteer-supported, nonprofit garden founded in 2000 that is dedicated to growing community one plant at a time while learning about the agricultural roots of the Jewish calendar. 100% of harvests go to local food pantries like After the Harvest, Safe Home, Jewish Family Services Food Pantries and more to provide for those in need.
Weekly volunteer sessions are held Sundays from 8 a.m.-12 p.m., excluding Jewish holidays. Learn more.
